How do GPS jammer work?

Hello! I am very interested in how GPS jammers work and its main purpose.

The basic purpose of a GPS jammer is to prevent GPS loggers from either receiving satellite signals, or sending signals back to their base station. Now, chances are, any GPS you will have contact with use the radio frequency set aside from civilian use. Jammers work on the principal of interference. It is similar to you trying to have a conversation with your friend in an airport runway, where a jet engine is turned on. You wont be able to listen to any thing because of the jet engine. A Jammer works like a jet engine in this case, instead of noise it generates radio waves of all frequency's simultaneously and does not let your device connect to the network.

GPS jamming devices in the United States are mainly used for anti-tracking.

In addition to carrying around to prevent personal location, the most commonly used place is your car. Because it's so easy to buy tracking devices in the United States, you have to be prepared to do anti-stalking.
